Students, practitioners and general public - Are you interested in the field of lymphedema? Join us for an informative session led by  Dr. Dudley Yacinthe! Topics such as common health issues and innovative treatment options will be explored.

In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, you will learn about career pathways in lymphedema and navigating entry into this rewarding field. Our expert speaker will share insights, resources, and tips for success.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Dudley Yacinthe is an occupational therapist with the University of Miami Health Systems. Dr. Yacinthe earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Florida golf Coast ,Class of 2017. Soon after he went on to pursue his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University.

Dr. Yacinthe is certified in LSVT-BIG, dual certified in lymphedema and wound, and is a level III cancer rehabilitation professional. Dr. Yacinthe serves as an outpatient lymphedema and cancer rehab therapist.Dr. Yacinthe serves in the University of Miami's Interdisciplinary Parkinson’s Movement Clinic and frequently guest lectures on topics regarding diversity equity, inclusion, lymphedema, Parkinson's disease, and professional development.

As an occupational therapist, Dr. Yacinthe seeks to empower his client to overcome the unexpected hurdles that life may bring and to live life on purpose through meaningful occupations. Dr. Yacinthe is a first-generation Haitian American who pursues faith, civic engagement, and discovering new attractions within my local community.
