About the Speaker:
Dr. Sabina Khan is a women’s health specialist, pelvic floor therapist, and researcher with expertise in women’s health, brain injury rehabilitation, and trauma-informed care. Her research focuses on effective interventions for women’s health conditions and exploring the impact of these conditions on daily occupations and quality life. As author of the first comprehensive women’s health text in occupational therapy (releasing January 2025), Dr. Khan also serves as an associate editor and peer reviewer for several scholarly journals. Committed to community service, she engages with marginalized populations, particularly young women of color, to promote health equity.
